Webasto has confidence in its battery technology and therefore offers individually tailored services over and above the normal warranty. These protect against battery failure or loss of capacity, for example.

The modern Webasto plant in the Regensburg district is a pioneer in terms of sustainability. The plant produces up to 40,000 battery systems per year using only green electricity. It has its own photovoltaic system on the roof - half the size of a soccer pitch. Battery recycling is also very important to Webasto which is why Webasto is building a battery storage system with more than 500 second-life battery modules with a capacity of one megawatt hour at one company site.
