Efficient battery conditioning

The Webasto eBTM is a stand-alone battery thermo management unit. It ensures optimal functioning of water-cooled battery packs in electrical commercial vehicles and guarantees long-term ideal battery cell performance.

Water-cooled battery solution

With powerful coolant pumps in the eBTM, optimal functioning of water-cooled battery packs is ensured. A 50/50 water/glycol mixture flows through integrated cooling plates, maintaining the battery's ideal operational temperature.

Compact and robust design

Components for coolant and heating circuits, electrical water pumps and control units are all housed within the compact design of the eBTM.

Scalable system solution for various vehicle types

eBTM is a perfectly scalable solution: Starting with just one unit, every type of electrical vehicle can be equipped with one or several battery cooling units.

Product details

Product specifications

Designed for larger vehicles, eBTM offers 8 kW cooling and up to 10 kW heating. It handles a high battery capacity of 210 kWh and comes in 400 V and 800 V versions, using R-1234yf refrigerant.

The eBTM is suitable for a wide range of electric and hybrid vehicles. It optimizes battery performance, increases energy efficiency and extends the battery’s lifespan.

Delivery scope
