The Webasto Group's sales amounted to 4.6 billion Euro in the 2023 financial year, an increase of 6 percent on the previous year.

In 2023 Webasto generated the largest share of sales with roof systems. The share of business with batteries and thermomanagement solutions tripled compared to the previous year and contributed with 21 percent to the Group's sales.

The corporate group is broadly positioned worldwide and focuses on strong regions. In principle, Webasto produces in the market for the respective market. In 2023, Webasto generated the largest share of sales in Europe, closely followed by North America and China.

As an innovative technology company, Webasto has continuously high R&D expenditures, thus ensuring the long-term success of the company. In 2023, spending totaled 347 million euros.

In 2023, the investments of Webasto amounting to 242 million euros (5.2 percent of sales) went primarily into its roof systems segment and into expanding its position in the market for battery systems.

Globally, the number of employees in 2023 remained almost constant compared to the previous year. The number of employees (excluding trainees) amounted to more than 16,600.
