Webasto Foundation: Driving
social commitment worldwide
Webasto Social Days 2025 – Wrapping up at headquarters in Stockdorf
Stockdorf/Munich – December 17, 2025 – With Social Days 2025, the Webasto Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility. Employees across the Webasto Group volunteered for charitable projects at numerous locations worldwide, including environmental initiatives in Korea, fundraising campaigns for children in Romania, and assisting local nursing homes and social service organizations in the Stockdorf area.
Despite economic challenges, company management and the owner families remained committed to their principles, and focused this year's efforts of the Webasto Foundation on the ”Move People” field of action. The goal was to inspire employees to apply their creativity and energy to local social institutions beyond their daily work. The activities were flexibly adapted to regional needs. promoting community and team spirit.
At the Stockdorf headquarters, Social Days began just in time for the pre-Christmas season. The offerings ranged from activities with children, senior citizens, and people in need to projects for animals and nature. Those unable to dedicate a full day, had the opportunity to register as bone marrow donors, donate a bicycle to the ”Blue Bicycle” campaign run by the Child Protection Association Starnberg, or fulfill a Christmas wish for the residents of a local retirement home.
“The high level of participation shows how deeply social responsibility is anchored in our company culture,” said Jörg Buchheim, CEO of Webasto. “Everyone involved benefits: The institutions receive support and visibility, and the employees gain valuable experience.”
