The Webasto Range Plus system not only boosts the electric range by up to 80 km in chillier conditions, but also greatly improves comfort and efficiency. It is a versatile solution catering to various needs, such as student transport, mobile workplaces and delicate goods transportation. Moreover, the inclusion of paraffinic fuels like HVO enables eco-friendly operation of the auxiliary heater. This reduces emissions while extending the electric range. Consequently, this avoids re-routing for charging pauses, ensuring drivers can maintain their schedules and comfort, even during the harshest winters.

Product details

Product specification

Range Plus, a fuel-powered air heating system, mitigates energy consumption during vehicle heating, ensuring an ambient temperature and reducing battery load. It yields an additional 80 km range and up to 50 h extra heating. Heating capacity varies between 0.9-4.0 kW, with nominal voltage at 12 Volt.

Easy to retrofit

Our Range Plus kit fits various vehicles including Mercedes, Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, Toyota, Fiat, VW and Ford. It functions optimally in temperatures from -40 °C and uses multiple fuel types.

What is included

The Range Plus system comes with an Air Top 2000 STC D 12 V/Air Top Evo 40 D 12 V, vehicle-specific installation kit and essential accessories for air routing and heating. The set includes fuel tank, tank level sensors, indicators and filler assemblies for specific models.
