Strong protection against pathogens in school buses
The HFT 300 air filtration system from Webasto complieswith HEPA filter class H14. This means that they filter out 99.995percent of particles smaller than 0.3 micrometers from the air inschool buses. These particles also include respirable viruses,bacteria, aerosols and dust. Depending on their size, thefiltration systems decontaminate between three and ten cubicmeters of room air per minute. They only require a 12- or 24-voltconnection.
As the filter is closed tightly with a lid before being changed, itcan be replaced without contamination using the usual protectiveclothing. The devices comply with the international WHO / CDC /ECDC HEPA filter standards, which require 60 air changes perhour for infection control. It is easy to retrofit vehicles with aHEPA14 filter system.
