Schaidt is a district of the town of Wörth am Rhein in Rheinland-Pfalz in the district of Germersheim. It lies on the western edge of the Bienwald forest and used to be the center of the Pfalz basketry industry. From here, numerous hiking and cycling trails lead into seemingly untouched nature, along the Rhein, into the Pfälzerwald or to larger towns with a remarkable cultural offering.

The Webasto plant in Schaidt, founded in 1970, is used by our 255 employees for electronics production since many years. The 12,000 m2 site offers enough space for the final assembly of our wallboxes as well as for the production of hardware for electronic control units (ECUs) and the relevant software.
Hard and software are both essential for intelligent vehicles and are an important component of our products in all business areas. Therefore, the Webasto Competence Center (COC) for electronics production is located in Schaidt.
