Gender Pay Gap Reporting

Gender pay gap legislation requires employers with 250 or more employees to publish statutory calculations each year, showing how large the pay gap is between their male and female employees.  This new legislation applies to our site in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield, who were required by April 4th 2018 to publish their gender pay gap figures based on snap shot data from April 5th 2017.  The public availability of this information should encourage employers to take actions to reduce or eliminate their gender pay gap over a period of time.

Published data must show:

  1. Average gender pay gap as a mean average
  2. Average gender pay gap as a median average
  3. Average bonus gender pay gap as a mean average
  4. Average bonus gender pay gap as a median average
  5. Proportion of males receiving a bonus payment and proportion of females receiving a bonus payment
  6. Proportion of males and females when divided into 4 groups ordered from lowest to highest pay

You will find that the results are published on the HMRC website and have been confirmed by Managing Director and if you require further information please contact Alison Lowe, Human Resources Manager alison.lowe@webasto.com
