The engine and interior of a parked vehicle are preheated with its own heat exchanger and fan, for lower fuel consumption and less CO2 emissions. These models are also designed to heat service water and the cargo as well as occupied areas of large utility vehicles.
Auxiliary Heater Upgrade: Diesel Drivers Save Double!
The heat emitted by modern diesel engines is often inadequate to heat the interior, so diesel vehicles are often fitted ex works with an auxiliary heater. This can be converted easily and economically to a fully equivalent parking heater.
