| Stockdorf/Munich. – An attractive glass tailgate for the new Volvo C 30 is one of the latest innovations from the components company, Webasto. The tailgate module is composed of a glass panel, a carrier frame and preassembled add-on parts. The system is also supplied with the roof spoiler that is always painted in the car colour, a wiper system as well as the opening handles. All interfaces between the car and the tailgate are adapted so that the assembly can be mounted on the car directly as a complete module.
In offering the Webasto tailgate module, Volvo is continuing a fine design tradition dating back to the legendary Volvo P 1800 ES in the 1960s. In addition to this vehicle element, Webasto also supplies a tilting/sliding roof for the Volvo C30 that customers can select as a special option.
