Cost-effective installation and retrofitting
A great many diesel-engined cars and people carriers already come equipped with a Thermo Top Z system as standard: VW (Touran, Touareg, T5, Phaeton, Caddy), Audi A8, BMW (7 Series, X5), DaimlerChrysler (S-Class), Peugeot (407, 807, Partner, Expert), Citroen (C8, C5, Berlingo, Xsara, Picasso), Jaguar/Land Rover (S-Type, Discovery, Freelander), Fiat/Alfa (166, Ducato), Mazda (6, MPV), Kia (Sorrento), Hyundai (Trajet, Starex)
As a rule, however, motorists are unaware of the existence of the fuel-driven heating system that functions fully automatically according to the outer and coolant temperatures. This really is a pity, since the series-fitted Thermo Top Z auxiliary heater is easily upgraded to full parking heater status by means of a special kit. It goes without saying that the result provides all of the options in terms of user convenience, from a manual timer to remote control right through to the innovative Thermo Call systems that enable you to activate the Webasto parking heater from any telephone or by SMS.
