Stockdorf/Munich. – More and more motorhome manufacturers and owners are reaping the benefits of a Webasto fuel-powered heating system. Whether it’s an air or water heater, both systems offer the highest levels of heating comfort. The Webasto Air Top 2000 ST, Air Top 3500 and Air Top 5000 are distinctive for being whisper-quiet while yielding a high heat output – guaranteeing a peaceful night’s rest for both you and your neighbours – and for their low power consumption. The units can also be used in summer to provide infinitely variable ventilation.

With output levels of 2 kW, 3.5 kW and 5 kW, the fuel-powered Air Top heaters allow you to select a system that is tailored to your own specific needs – specifically suited to the size and insulation of your vehicle. Top of the range is the Air Top 5000, which achieves an output of 5.5 kW with the automatic booster on.

Whisper-quiet operation with adjustable settings

The smallest air heater, the Air Top 2000 ST, sets new standards in low noise levels. But that’s not to say that the more powerful Air Top 3500 and Air Top 5000 aren’t also agreeably quiet, even at full power, thanks to fluidically optimised air intake. All systems have infinitely variable settings, which can be smoothly adjusted without secondary noise once the unit reaches the desired temperature. This eliminates sudden and disruptive changes in running noise, and the need to keep switching the units on and off.

Reliable, patented burner technology

High-quality ceramics technology in the glow plug and tungsten coil reduces power consumption at start-up while ensuring maximum operating safety, since after the preheating phase the glow plug in the AT 3500 and AT 5000 works as a flame monitor, signalling the successful start-up and controlled burning of the flame to the control unit.

Webasto Air Top hot-air heaters work by thermostatic control. An optional combi clock allows you to set the activation time and temperature.

Workshop- and diagnosis-friendly

Trouble-shooting the new generation of Webasto Air Top hot-air heaters in the workshop is fast and reliable, thanks to Webasto PC-based software. The compact units are also flexible to install and have an integrated control unit: designed for either 12 V or 24 V operation, they work efficiently in various positions and have waterproof connectors. The heating systems in the Air Top range can also be installed in a protected area on the outside of the vehicle. Webasto customers have access to over 5,000 fitters and service stations worldwide.
