Webasto Aquavent 5000 S - The new range of circulation pumps with magnetic coupling for buses
Stockdorf/Munich. – The new Webasto Aquavent 5000 S circulation pump with magnetic coupling offers significant improvements in quality and reliability compared to the tried and tested U4814.
When developing the pump, which is used to operate the parking heater, to support the circulation of the existing engine pump and in the complete Aquasphere solution, Webasto placed great emphasis on one hundred per cent compatibility with the U4814 circulation pumps.
This makes replacement extremely easy. Webasto has developed application proposals for upgrading buses from the U4814 to the new Aquavent 5000 S.
New seal-less design
Because the Aquavent 5000 S is seal-less, it has the advantage over the low-wear rotary seal in being maintenance-free – which from the life-cycle-cost point of view means improved efficiency. It also guarantees protection against leakage and is completely airtight, even when the pump breaks down. The motor can also be replaced without having to dismount the pump head.
