Stockdorf/Munich. – For a long time Webasto parking heaters have been an absolute “must” for many car drivers seeking optimal comfort and increased safety on the road, in particular in the cold season. Whether activated via timer, radio remote control or by telephone using Thermo Call, it is one of those comfort features that once experienced is hard to live without.

With the Telestart T 100 HTM, Webasto has once again turned its attention to “convenience” – remaining true to the motto “Good is not good enough”. HTM stands for Heating Time Management and means, in short, that the new remote control automatically detects when the parking heater needs to be switched on.

The driver simply enters the departure time in the integrated display and programmes the comfort level to be achieved by this departure time – the remote control and the parking heater then take care of the rest. The heat time manager integrated in the remote control identifies the temperature inside the vehicle and automatically calculates the time at which the heating should start on the basis of the departure time. The five individually adjustable comfort levels range from “Defrost windscreen” right through to comfortable heating of the passenger compartment.

Both the operating display (heating, parking ventilation) and the heating time programme are shown in the display in the form of easily understandable symbols. With its attractive and modern design, about the same size as a key ring, the Telestart T 100 HTM adds even more value to Webasto parking heaters as a comfort and well-being product. In future car drivers will find their vehicle at the right level of comfort at precisely the planned departure time. No more waiting for a frozen windscreen to clear. In other words, you set off when you want to, rather than when the car is ready.
