Stockdorf/München. – Commercial vehicles should also be able to enjoy the proven advantages of so-called water heaters. Consequently, in parallel with the proven air-heating Air Top range, Webasto offer the Thermo 90 ST professional parking heater system. Incorporated in the engine coolant circuit, the burner-based heater has a dual function: warming the driving cab and pre-heating the engine.

Designed specifically for the needs of commercial vehicles, the "heavy duty version" of the Webasto parking heaters operating on the engine coolant stands out from its smaller sisters, the Thermo 50 and the Thermo Top range for cars. Thus, the continuously adjustable heating outputs of the Thermo 90 ST range from 1.8 to 7.6 kW. This output is increased further to the maximum of 9.1 kW in the booster stage.

Reliable quiet operation

The Thermo 90 ST also meets the specific requirements of commercial vehicles with its particularly quiet operation and the priority given to cab heating. The pre-heating of the engine which reduces wear and emissions is always the secondary function.

The proven Ferro-Tec burner design of the Thermo 90 ST parking heater guarantees lasting clean combustion. The use of sophisticated ceramic technology for the glow plug and flame monitor ensures reduced power consumption during starting.

With its particularly compact construction and integral controller, the Webasto Thermo 90 ST assists rapid and problem-free incorporation in the commercial vehicle heating system and so offers a financially attractive alternative to existing parking heater designs.
