Stockdorf/Munich. – It is not simply enough to generate the required amounts of heat and cold. They must also be distributed as effectively as possible throughout the bus. Webasto has therefore developed two sidewall heaters which, depending on requirements, can generate the required temperature far more effectively and quickly (and transfer this to the air inside the bus) than conventional systems.
Like all its air-conditioning and heating systems, the Thermo Activ Radial and Thermo Activ Axial sidewall heaters are the result of Webasto’s own development work into optimising the overall performance of the heating / air-conditioning system. Webasto is not only committed to generating the required temperature within the vehicle, but also to ensuring optimum comfort and convenience in each individual part of the bus.
The Thermo Activ solutions together with the Webasto Aerosphere world and Aquasphere bus climatisation systems will contribute to greatly improving passenger comfort over the next few years. They will also consolidate Webasto’s reputation as a supplier of high-quality and inexpensive products for buses and railmounted vehicles.
