With the new Thermo Top C Motorcaravan, Webasto has now gone one step further, for despite having achieved successful results in heating the vehicle interior, the temperature in the driver’s cab is often still not sufficiently comfortable. This is because this area suffers from inferior insulation compared with the rest of the vehicle. In particular, the large areas of glass, kick space around the pedals and cable tunnels all contribute to heat loss. The Thermo Top Motorcaravans has been designed especially for this environment.

The supplementary heater is integrated in the engine’s water circulation in such a way that the driver’s cabin can be heated either by the vehicle fan alone or also by the engine. Flip switches on the dashboard are used to select the desired heating option. The heating power supply (12 V) comes from the secondary battery, so the motorhome’s own battery never runs down. In autumn and spring, when temperatures are not so low, the output of the Webasto Thermo Top C Motorcampers (5.2 kW) is quite sufficient to heat the whole camper vehicle.

The unit is supplied in a comprehensive package that includes the cable harness, changeover switch, bracket and thermostat, making it perfect for immediate installation. And the included Webasto timer allows for continuous heating. For additional convenience, there are the Telestart T 80, the T 100 HTM remote control systems or the Thermo Call, which operates the heater by phone.

Designed for diesel engines, this device is already available for popular caravan models.
