A firm part of corporate culture. What began in 2003 with just ten children has now become established as a firm institution at the Webasto sites in Stockdorf and Gilching. In 2009 more than 270 children and youths between the ages of three and sixteen took part.
By employees for employees. We are only able to offer the children and youths a varied program every year through the unflagging commitment of numerous voluntary Webasto employees. A number of departments prepare interesting activities in advance, including examples of their daily work, that give the children and youths an overview of internal procedures as well as projects and technologies.
What actually happens on the open day for children? The day starts with the children getting to know where their parents work. The obligatory photos for the participants' brochure are followed by the official welcome before the actual program starts with the various activities for different ages. At the end of the day each child receives a small gift as a memento and a certificate of participation.
